Valeo Networks, a managed security service provider that is a division of Saalex Corp., has acquired Etech Solutions, a similar firm in Iowa.
Terms of the deal between Valeo, in Rockledge, Fla., and Etech, in Ankeny, Iowa, were not disclosed. Valeo is owned by Saalex Corp., a Camarillo engineering and information technology services company.
Etech Solutions marks the fourth acquisition this year for Valeo Networks, firmly placing its revenue volume in the top 5 percent of managed security service providers nationwide, the company said.
Etech specializes in providing information technology services for a variety of industries, including the construction, engineering, real estate, health care and legal sectors.
Travis Mack, chief executive of Valeo and Saalex, said that working with a company like Etech helps them achieve a goal of expanding nationwide.
“This acquisition establishes our first Midwest-located office, and significantly boosts our capabilities and resources in the areas of cybersecurity, managed services, cloud solutions and network administration offerings,” Mack said in a statement.
