57-Unit Apartment Complex Coming to Toluca Lake

An affiliate of George Smith Partners of Century City has proposed a large apartment complex with 57 units to replace an existing trio of small residential buildings in Toluca Lake, according to plans submitted to the city of Los Angeles. Per Urbanize.LA, the proposed development, to be erected at 4366-4378 N. Cahuenga Blvd., would see a four-story, 41-foot-tall building housing the units, perched atop a two levels of basement parking to accommodate 69 vehicles. The 17,600-square-foot development site is being entitled with density bonus incentives, which will allow for reduced open space and additional height in exchange for providing on-site affordable housing. If completed, this structure will stand two blocks east of Lankershim Boulevard, where the Delijani family has more than 230 apartments plus retail storefronts underway for a ground-up, adaptive reuse project.
