Charter-Only Boeing Jet at VNY

Aircraft charter operator Silver Air now has a Boeing Business Jet available for charter service out of Van Nuys Airport, which is a first of sorts. The managed jet, with seating for up to 16 passengers and which can fly more than 6,000 uninterrupted miles, can be booked for global flights. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a private office, lounge area, master suite, two full bathrooms with showers and a full-service galley. The aircraft is available on an unrestricted basis, meaning that its owner is making the plane available only for charter flights. One other Boeing Business Jet is based at Van Nuys but is used regularly by its owner and only occasionally for charter. Silver Air Chief Executive Jason Middleton said that potential passengers for the Boeing aircraft include executive management teams, domestic and international music tours and VIPs. “The Boeing Business Jet is like flying in a five-star resort suite, which will help our charter guests arrive at their destination relaxed and well rested after a long cross-country or trans-global flight,” Middleton said in a statement. Silver Air, based in Santa Barbara, also manages and operates charter aircraft from Gulfstream, Cessna, Dassault, Bombardier and Embraer.
