Row 44 Reaches 350 Aircraft Installations

Inflight Wi-Fi provider Row 44 Inc. has now installed its equipment in 350 aircraft worldwide, the company announced. The Westlake Village-based firm credited the increased number of satellite transponders in North America and Europe with the growth in aircraft using its services. “This installation milestone is quite significant as it makes Row 44 by far the world’s most widely deployed satellite-based inflight WiFi service,” said CEO John LaValle in a prepared statement. Row 44 supplies its satellite-based broadband service aboard aircraft operated by Southwest Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Icelandair, and Transaero Airlines, a private carrier in Russia. Mark R.
