Accounting firm J.H. Cohn LLP will add offices on the East Coast following a completion of a merger with Reznick Group, P.C. The combined firms will make the 11th largest accounting and consultancy practice in the U.S. and employee more than 2,000 workers in 25 offices. The merger is expected to take effect in September. J.H. Cohn has an office in Woodland Hills and in downtown Los Angeles. Reznick has a single Los Angeles office but does have locations in that J.H. Cohn does not serve such as Baltimore, Chicago, Charlotte, and Virginia. The merger changes the landscape of the accounting industry by establishing a firm with expertise in real estate and in areas such as renewable energy, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, capital markets, government, construction, said J.H.
