Wells Fargo Opens Porter Ranch Store

Wells Fargo & Co. opened a new retail banking store using recycled materials and energy efficient equipment, its second LEED certified store in the San Fernando Valley. The store in Porter Ranch makes for 13 LEED-certified locations in California and the 75th in the U.S. “Wells Fargo is a leader in protecting the environment and promoting the long-term economic prosperity and quality of life for everyone in our communities,” said Marla Clemow, regional president for Wells Fargo’s San Fernando Valley Community Bank. “We’re proud to bring this innovative, new store to the Porter Ranch community.” The store has insulation made from recycled denim, fully recyclable carpet; window treatments and counter surfaces; glass using a low-emittance coating; glass panels made with recycled material; and used adhesives, paints, sealants and coatings made with low volatile organic compounds.
