Recruiting Begins for Munchkin Bunch

North Hills-based Munchkin Inc. recently announced the launch of its second-annual Munchkin Bunch program, a social media initiative which follows a select group of babies as they learn and grow. The company, which designs and manufactures infant and toddler products, is currently recruiting the five subjects for its annual campaign. Munchkin has encouraged parents to nominate their infants and toddlers by submitting photos of their little ones and naming their favorite Munchkin product. Nominations close July 23. After being selected through a public voting process, the members of the Munchkin Bunch will be followed for six months via Munchkin’s Facebook page. Each month, the participants will receive select Munchkin products which match their age and align with their growth to help in reaching new milestones. Products will include the Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail, safety gates and other accessories. “At Munchkin, we are committed to providing everyday tools parents need to help their babies reach important milestones,” said Jeffrey Kaltreider, Munchkin vice president, in a prepared statement. “The Munchkin Bunch has allowed us to really connect with some of our customers on a more personal level. We enjoy becoming a part of these families’ lives.” Members will also receive a $1,000 college scholarship upon graduating from the Munchkin Bunch program. Eager parents have been flooding the Munchkin Facebook page, urging the public to vote for their children. Sam Wright from Mebane, N.C., recently posted, “Just wanted to send out a great big thanks for creating the diaper pail. I think that’s mommy’s favorite munchkin product! Xander’s is his water testing rubber ducky. We both have our priorities. Don’t forget to vote for Xander to be a part of the Munchkin Bunch!!!”
