Auto Supply Firm Signs Distribution Agreements

Automotive aftermarket supplier Fuel Doctor Holdings Inc. has signed distribution agreements for its fuel efficiency booster in China and South America. Both are growth areas for the Calabasas-based company whose flagship product, the Platinum FD-47, plugs into the lighter socket/power port closest to the engine of a vehicle to help drivers regain lost miles per gallon. In South America, Fuel Doctor signed up Senibellcorp, S.A. in Ecuador as its exclusive distributor. The company will purchase 800,000 of the FD-47 units over a five-year period at a cost of $12 million. Fuel Doctor Automobile Care China Beijing Company will distribute the FD-47 in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao. The company has agreed to purchase 2 million FD-47 units a year for five years and has already paid Fuel Doctor Holdings a $1 million deposit. The Chinese distributor is headed up by Ma Song Hai, a prominent figure in the country’s automotive market, said Fuel Doctor President and CEO Mark Soffa. “Having tested the Platinum FD-47 and our patent-pending technology, Mr. Ma has confidence in our product and his well-informed projections for sales in the China market are very encouraging,” Soffa said.
