SpaRitual, a Van Nuys-based beauty products manufacturer, soon will expand its product line with a trio of new body treatment products set to debut in fall 2012. “SpaRitual has always offered vegan hand and foot care products but has now ventured into a new realm offering more complete body care products including the new Instinctual Clay Masque, Instinctual Sand Scrub, and the Infinitely Loving Body Butter,” said Founder Shel Pink. SpaRitual, started in 2004 by Pink, is a sister company to ORLY International, also in Van Nuys. SpaRitual’s products only this year became available to a wide audience after making a deal to be sold at Sephora stores. Prior to that, the company operated in a niche market, with sales only through spas and salons. Staying true to its vegan, environmentally-conscious goals, the three new SpaRitual products are biodegradable and free of synthetic dyes, parabens and petrochemicals. The new Instinctual Clay Masque, with organic Indonesian ginger essential oil and red clay, is designed to remain soft on the face and is safe for use on the body. The Sand Scrub is a blend of grains of white sand and volcanic magma. “Each one of our brand new SpaRitual body products was created with a new purpose in mind,” said Pink. The Infinitely Loving Body Butter can be used as a moisturizer as well as a masque and is made with 70 percent certified-organic chemicals.
