Health care label and identification manufacturer Precision Dynamics Corp.-St. John promoted Peter Resnick to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Resnick oversees the operations and human resources for the San Fernando-based company and heads up the integration between Precision Dynamics and St. John Companies Inc. The privately-held companies merged in January. Resnick had been COO and CFO at St. John, based in Santa Clarita. As COO for the combined company, Resnick takes the lead in cross-functional efforts to serve customers, said Precision Dynamics – St. John President and CEO Cecil Kost. “During his time with Precision Dynamics – St. John, Peter has demonstrated the quality of leadership and high standards that are important to our company’s focus on providing our customers with outstanding products and services that support their goals of patient safety and efficient care management,” Kost said in a prepared statement. Prior to joining St. John, Resnick served as vice president and corporate controller at Bell Industries and as assistant corporate controller at Superior Industries International Inc., an aluminum wheel manufacturer in Van Nuys.
