Simulations Plus to Work with FDA on Toxicity Models

Simulations Plus Inc. will work with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to develop models to determine toxicity levels when evaluating food additives and contaminants. The Lancaster-based pharmaceutical software company will be allowed to commercialize the models developed under the collaboration. Under the agreement, the FDA will provide non-proprietary toxicology data that will be used to create the models to be incorporated into Simulations-Plus’s best-selling ADMET Predictor software. “ADMET Predictor will be enhanced further with the availability of the toxicity models we’ll develop under this collaboration,” said Simulations Plus Chairman and CEO Walt Woltosz. The results of the collaboration will be published through various scientific publications and presentations. Mark R. Madler
