Car Sound Exhaust System Inc. chose wi-fi products made by Xirrus Inc. for its new distribution center. Westlake Village-based Xirrus will install six wi-fi arrays supporting code scanners, laptops and printers in the 250,000-square-foot distribution and warehouse facility in Oceanside, Calif. The resulting network supports Car Sound Exhaust System’s inventory and order processing system that connects to their corporate headquarters in Rancho Santa Margarita. Car Sound makes catalytic converters and performance exhaust systems for cars, trucks and SUVs. John DiGiovanni, director of marketing at Xirrus, said the company is excited to be part of Car Sound’s new distribution facility and provide the wi-fi network for their inventory management system. “We were able to provide them with the equipment they needed for a future proof Wi-Fi network enabling them to handle new, higher bandwidth applications that will be utilized in the facility over time,” DiGiovanni said, in a statement.
