One daily non-stop flight between Skybus’s hub in Columbus, Ohio and Burbank begins May 22. A second non-stop flight is scheduled to begin in June. Skybus offers discount, no-frills flights with ticket prices starting at $10. “We’re sure that Skybus passengers will find Bob Hope Airport to be a convenient, well-located access point for Southern California, and nonstop service to Columbus will offer our local travelers an attractive new option to the Midwest and other destinations Skybus serves,” said Chris Holden, president of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority, in a statement. Initial Skybus flights will also serve the Boston area, Kansas City, and Richmond, Virg., Additional flights will be added for Ft. Lauderdale, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, N.C., and the Seattle area.
