ERP Power LLC has acquired Lumenetix, a Northern California manufacturer of tunable LED lamps for the lighting market. Financial terms of the deal between ERP Power, in Moorpark, and Lumenetix, in Scotts Valley, were not disclosed. Founded in 2004, ERP designs and manufactures small, smart and connected LED electronics for architectural, commercial and industrial lighting applications. It is owned by Angeles Equity Partners LLC in Santa Monica. Timothy Meyer and Jordan Katz, co-founders and managing partners of Angeles Equity Partners, said that the combined company is positioned to deliver a compelling value proposition to the lighting industry. “ERP and Lumenetix are well-positioned to capitalize on the Internet of Things digital controls and full spectrum lighting industry trends,” Meyer and Katz said in a statement. As part of the transaction, Jed Dorsheimer and Doug Herst have joined the ERP Power board. Herst is the founder of Lumenetix and Dorsheimer is a managing director at Canaccord Genuity in Toronto.
