Doing Things Media creates internet memes and viral videos that reach an audience of 60 million followers across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. The Atlanta company was founded in 2017 by Reid Hailey and Derek Lucas.
Among the Loop customers that will stream Doing Things’ library of 160,000 viral videos are Yard House, Margaritaville, Buffalo Wild Wings and Norwegian Cruise Lines.
“Through Loop’s distribution platform and network, Doing Things will provide audiences with humorous, lighthearted content during a time in which consumers may feel unease returning to out-of-home establishments,” said Loop Chief Executive Jon Niermann in a statement.
Hailey said the company’s portfolio has shown that its content is appealing to mainstream and niche audiences.
“We’re so excited the top-tier venues in Loop’s network will now get the chance to entertain their customers while they eat, drink, shop or travel, especially as we navigate these stressful times,” he added in a statement.
Shares of Loop Media (LPTV) closed Wednesday up 5 cents, or about 1.9 percent, to $2.70 on the over-the-counter market.
