Cinedigm Corp. has signed a partnership agreement with FreeCast to carry nine of its networks on its new partner’s streaming service SelectTV.

The Sherman Oaks entertainment content distributor will make available to FreeCast, in Orlando, Fla., such networks as Bob Ross Channel, comedy provider Comedy Dynamics, documentary network Docurama, parent-approved movies from Dove Channel, and pop culture network CONtv and its sister network CONtv Anime with acclaimed anime series and movies.

SelectTV is available in browsers, through Android and iOS apps and supports streaming to most major television sets via Chromecast and Airplay.

Erick Opeka, president of Cinedigm Digital Networks, said this deal helps the company achieve the goal of putting Cinedigm’s networks in every home in the United States, accessible on every connected device.

“SelectTV provides an amazing value to consumers and their SelectTV service puts us in front of a fast-growing, highly engaged user base,” Opeka said in a statement.

Shares of Cinedigm (CIDM) closed down 14 cents, or just more than 6 percent, to $2.16 on the Nasdaq, on a day when that market closed down about 2.2 percent.
