Short-form video distributor Loop Media Inc. has inked a partnership with Jukin Media, the owner and operator of a portfolio of digital video properties that reach 190 million followers across social media.
Loop Media, in Glendale, will make the videos available to restaurants, bars, casinos, cruise ships and other public venues.
Chief Executive Jon Niermann said the addition of Los Angeles-based Jukin Media’s original content provides Loop’s business partners with more opportunities to engage their customers.
“Customers, including Jukin’s 190 million social followers, can now see their favorite viral videos alongside their favorite music videos and other short-form content as they enjoy their time outside the home,” Niermann said in a statement.
Loop Media was co-founded in 2016 by Niermann. It monetizes its video distribution service through subscriptions and advertising. It has curated a library of 200,000 music videos plus film, television and game trailers. It is a subsidiary of Interlink Plus Inc., in Las Vegas.
Shares in Interlink Plus (ITRK) closed up at 2 cents, or about 2.5 percent, to 60 cents on the over-the-counter market on Wednesday.
