Loop Media Inc. has partnered with Ultimate Gamer to bring its music videos and other content to the gaming market.

Financial terms of the agreement between the Glendale short-form video distributor and esports company Ultimate Gamer in Miami were not disclosed.


The partnership announced on Tuesday brings Loop Media’s growing library of more than 500,000 music videos, film trailers and highlights to an entirely new audience in the linear gaming channel.


The partnership kicks off this month with Virtual New Year’s Eve, an immersive experience in which Ultimate Gamer will provide virtual experiences, interactive content and streams geared toward gamers and esports fans through an app and website. The experience will be available from Dec. 19 to Jan. 3.


Ultimate Gamer Chief Executive Steve Suarez said the company is excited to work with Loop Media to bring entertainment content to the virtual New Year’s Eve celebration.


“VNYE is going to be a night to remember, and with the help of Loop Media, we will be able to bring the absolute best viewing experiences for those tuning in around the world,” Suarez said in a statement.


Ultimate Gamer is an online community that allows gamers to play video games for cash prizes and view content about the gaming industry and esports.


Loop Media distributes its library to restaurants, bars, casinos, cruise ships and other public venues.


Shares of Loop Media (LPTV) closed Tuesday down 45 cents, or nearly 14 percent, to $2.80 on the over-the-counter market.
