Dave & Buster’s to Open in Thousand Oaks

A new Dave & Buster’s is imminent in Thousand Oaks, and with it comes the promise of roughly 230 new jobs. The restaurant chain will make its Conejo Valley debut at the Janss Marketplace, located at 275 N. Moorpark Road. According to a company announcement, the chain is promising a 40,000-square-foot entertainment concept including an arcade with hundreds of “the latest and greatest games,” as well as an all-new chef-crafted menu featuring various dietary options and a sports bar with cocktail program and dozens of televisions. A message on the restaurant’s website reads “Tentative grand opening March 4th — now hiring all positions! Apply now!” In July, the company opened a Dave & Buster’s at Northridge Fashion Center at 9301 Tampa Ave. in Northridge, which brought about 200 new jobs to the San Fernando Valley. Opened under General Manager Jeff Bollenbeck, that location boasts 50,000 square feet of arcade games, sports viewing and food and beverages. At the time, the Northridge location represented the 10th Dave & Buster’s to open in Southern California, and the 117th location overall for the Dallas-based chain. The Thousand Oaks Dave & Buster’s will become the company’s 124th location.
