Nationwide, co-working has become the top office format in absorption this year. In the Valley, major operators plan to open new co-working locations in North Hollywood, Burbank and Woodland Hills before the end of the year.

But not every business thrives by renting a single office or suite and sharing kitchens, pool tables and open desks. Moreover, a report on office investors from Real Capital Markets found that 37 percent think the co-working industry already shows early signs of oversaturation.
