Technology company ISSquared has acquired Starnet Data Design in a move that allows the Conejo Valley company to expand its product and service offerings.

Financial terms of the deal between ISSquared, in Newbury Park, and Starnet Data, in Westlake Village, were not disclosed.

ISSquared provides networking, security and cloud-based computing services to industries that include biotech, higher education, financial services and construction. Starnet Data Design provides enterprise IT support and networking solutions.

The Starnet acquisition is the first one by ISSquared since starting in 2010. Chief Executive Bala Ramaiah said the company was excited to welcome the Starnet employees and the customer relationships they have nurtured over three decades in business.

“Our top priority is to ensure that Starnet’s customers can quickly leverage the capabilities and software offerings that ISSquared’s customers enjoy today,” Ramaiah said in a statement.
