As the new dean of the Nazarian College of Business and Economics at California State University-Northridge, Chandra Subramaniam is looking to build on the school’s strongest assets: Its accounting and entrepreneurship programs.

“You cannot be the best in everything, so you have to pick and choose what you are going to be good in,” the 64-year-old Malaysia native said in a question-and-answer session with the Business Journal.
