Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital on Tuesday announced the appointment of Ray Moss as vice president and chief information officer. Moss will be responsible for overseeing information services such as networks, communications, privacy and security at the 230-beds Valencia hospital. Prior to joining Henry Mayo, Moss served in management roles at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. “Ray has a robust background in health information management,” Roger Seaver, president at Henry Mayo, said in a statement. “His dedication in serving health care teams over the past 22 years brings a wealth of experience to our growing needs at Henry Mayo.”
