Film production equipment provider Ver, headquartered in Glendale, has named Digby Davies as its new chief executive. Davies previously served 11 years as chief executive and chief operating officer of the presentation services arm of PSAV Inc., which provides the hospitality industry with technology and creative support for events. His experience also has included director and executive roles at various firms that supply equipment to communications and broadcast media companies, according to his Linkedin profile. Additionally, Davies is a former client of Ver, he said in a company statement. “It was the experience I had as a 10-year Ver customer that enticed me to be part of this … growing company,” he said in a statement. “My goal is to preserve (Ver’s) culture for our 1,600 employees and our clients.”
