Bugs Bunny Puts Six Flags in First

Six Flags Magic Mountain has completed upgrades on its Bugs Bunny World rollercoaster, making it the amusement park with the most children’s rides in the country. The kid’s area expansion includes a new “pint-sized” roller coaster, Speedy Gonzales Hot Rod Racers, as well as the Carrot Club Theater, which will play a Looney Tunes-themed show. Both attractions officially debuted to visitors Wednesday within the 6-acre children’s area of the Valencia amusement park. With the newest Looney Tunes ride, Magic Mountain is now home to four kid’s coasters. The addition brings the park’s total rollercoaster count to 19, although the famous Colossus will close Aug. 16. The 62-mile-per-hour wooden rollercoaster sends cars across 4,325 feet of track on 10-acres. It was introduced in 1978 and cost $7 million to build.
