A company that manufactures and distributes wood flooring has purchased a corporate headquarters in Simi Valley for nearly $4 million.
Naturally Aged Flooring bought the 38,675-square-foot industrial facility at 2175 Agate Court from Agate Court II LLC.
The building represents a major increase for the company, which previously occupied less than 10,000 square feet a few miles away.
The company will occupy about half the building, and serve as landlord for the other half, which is already leased, said John DeGrinis, senior executive vice president at the Encino office of Colliers International, and listing broker.
“Naturally Aged Flooring utilized SBA financing to buy a building larger than what they needed, but with in-place income on half of the building it was a smart business decision,” he said in a statement after the sale.
Patrick DuRoss, associate vice president, and Jeff Abraham, senior associate at Colliers, also represented the seller.
