Thermal-ticket and receipt-printer manufacturer FutureLogic Inc. has named a new chief executive and made other changes to its senior management. Peter Murphy was promoted to head the privately-held Glendale company after serving as chief operating officer starting last year. He replaces Eric Meyerhofer, who will remain as the chairman of the board. Also, Nick Ortyl joined the company as chief operating officer. Ortyl had been vice president and general manager at L-3 Communications. “I am pleased that the company is in capable hands as we continue to develop new markets and expand our portfolio of innovative ticketing and couponing solutions,” said Murphy, in a prepared statement. FutureLogic manufactures ticket printers used in the gaming and medical industries, at gas stations and voting booths.
