Security Firm Moves Valley Office to Burbank

A multinational company that provides business-security systems has leased 18,000 square feet of creative office space in Burbank. Tyco Integrated Security LLC signed a 65-month lease at 100 E. Graham Place valued at more than $2.2 million. Tyco Integrated Security is headquartered in Boca Raton, Fla., and has more than 50 offices nationwide. It is a unit of Tyco International Ltd. of Switzerland. The deal was announced Wednesday by the L.A. North/Ventura office of Lee & Associates, which represented landlord Luzzatto Co. Inc. of Santa Monica. “When we think of creative space we typically think of entertainment users, but the features of these creative buildings often make them very attractive to a wider range of tenants,” said Lee Principal Robert D. Erickson, in a statement. Tyco will relocate from Chatsworth, where it shares about 30,000 square feet with alarm company ADT Corp., according to David Solomon, senior vice president at the Universal City office of CBRE Group Inc., who represented Tyco. The Burbank building features 20-foot ceiling heights, polished concrete floors, skylights and a loading dock. “This is a much more central location for them and a really good space,” Solomon said. Lee Principal Trevor Belden and Associate Bryan Carnes also represented the landlord. Michael Shellow of CBRE also represented Tyco.
