Aerospace service provider Merex Group will begin distributing aircraft parts made by an Ohio manufacturer used on legacy military aircraft. The deal between Camarillo-based Merex and Jay-Em Aerospace of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, will give international exposure to Jay-Em’s products and services, said Merex President Andy Shams. “Adding Jay-Em to our family of products and services demonstrates our continued commitment to strengthen our supply chain offerings to our foreign military customer base,” Shams said in a prepared statement. Merex will distribute nose, wheel and brake assemblies for nine military aircraft, including the Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport plane, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, the F-4 Phantom II, and the Boeing B-52.
