L.A. Auto Show Selects Valley PR Firm

Woodland Hills public relations firm JMPR Public Relations has been hired to handle media relations and communications for the Los Angeles Auto Show. JMPR was chosen as the agency of record due to its history of working with automotive clients and luxury brands associated with the high-end vehicles. The firm will be in charge of raising the national and international profile of the L.A. Auto Show and the inaugural Connected Car Expo taking place at the same time. JMPR had previously done media relations for the auto show from 1980 to 1996. “We credit this event as one of the launch pads that gave this company national recognition, leading to our continued success and growth,” said President Joe Molina in a prepared statement. “It made us a contender when we needed it.” The Los Angeles Auto Show began in 1907 and is the first North American auto show of the season each year. The show takes place Nov. 22 to Dec. 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Connected Car Expo runs Nov. 19 to Nov. 21 also at the convention center to showcase new car products.
