Tutor Wins Wisconsin Contract

Tutor Perini Corp. has been awarded a contract worth about $130 million from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the company announced Wednesday. Lunda Construction Co., a subsidiary of the Sylmar contractor, will construct a highway project near Green Bay, Wis. that will include 22 retaining walls, seven noise barriers and 26 sign structures. Construction is expected to begin this month with a significant amount completed by mid-2016. The project is part of the state transportation department’s six-year highway improvement program, and will provide expanded traffic capacity through improved interchanges and additional lanes and roundabouts.
