Advanced Bionics Wins Five Business Awards

Hearing implant technology company Advanced Bionics won five International Business Awards, including a gold for the most innovative company in North America. Valencia-based Advanced Bionics was also recognized for its Neptune processor, a waterproof implant worn while bathing or swimming. “To be acknowledged as one of the most innovative companies in the world is a great validation of the extensive time and effort we put into developing our advanced technology,” said Advanced Bionics CEO and CTO Dr. Gerhard Roehrlein in a prepared statement. Advanced Bionics received Stevie Awards for most innovative company, best new product or service of the year in health and pharmaceuticals, best marketing campaign for the Neptune processor, customer service department of the year, and creative department of the year. The International Business Awards are judged by more than 200 executives from around the world. Advanced Bionics is a subsidiary of the Sonova Group, a global hearing healthcare products company.
