Row 44 Adds Fourth Airline for Wi-fi Service

In-flight Wi-fi provider Row 44 has added Icelandair to the list of airlines using its equipment, the fourth carrier signed by the Westlake Village company. Row 44 will install high speed Wi-fi in the Icelandair fleet during the fourth quarter. The company supplies its satellite-based broadband service aboard 250 aircraft operated by Southwest Airlines and Norwegian Air Shuttle. In May, Row 44 announced it would serve Transaero Airlines, a private carrier in Russia. Icelandair serves Europe, the United States and Canada and will be the first North Atlantic airline to operate Wi-fi fleet wide. Mark R. Madler
