Valencia-based U.S. HealthWorks, a national operator of occupational healthcare and urgent care centers, announced the appointment of Patricia Mahony as national vice president of revenue management. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Patricia before and know her to be a high-performing senior executive,” CEO Daniel D. Crowley said in a statement. “She is a dynamic and adaptable leader with solid results in profitability and cost-effective management of resources.” Ms. Mahony will lead the Company’s revenue management function, reporting to Joe Mallas, executive vice president of operations. Ms. Mahony has more than 20 years of health care service delivery experience, including process optimization and revenue cycle management skills. She had worked at Critical Care America, which was sold in 1994 to Caremark International Inc., Apria Healthcare, a home infusion company in Lake Forest, Calif., and SmileCare, which operates several dozen dental practices throughout Southern California. Ms. Mahony earned a Bachelors of Arts from Rutgers University and has completed a certificate program in Healthcare Delivery at Harvard Business School.
