American Airlines will stop its four daily flights between Bob Hope Airport in Burbank and Dallas-Ft. Worth in early February. The airline announced the move Jan. 9 as part of an effort to cut costs. “Our objective is to make our company competitive and more efficient in an increasingly challenging industry,” the airline said in a statement. AMR Corp., the parent company of American, filed for Chap. 11 bankruptcy on Nov. 29 in federal court in New York.
