Farid Emrani has been promoted to president and chief executive officer at Logicube, a Chatsworth manufacturer of hard drive duplication technology.

Emrani has been with Logicube since 2005, most recently as executive vice president and chief operating officer responsible for day-to-day operations and implementing the company’s strategic planning.

Emrani replaces Jack Schuster, a co-founder of the company who will remain as chairman of the board of directors.

“I am committed to this company’s continued progress and will dedicate my efforts towards maintaining the tradition set forth by Jack, aimed at success and profitability for Logicube and its shareholders, and offering products and services that benefit Logicube’s customers and partners,” Emrani said in a prepared statement.

Prior to joining Logicube, Emrani worked for Xerox Corp., Lucent Technologies and Agere Systems.
