Financial software developer BlackLine Systems has opened five new offices in the U.S. and internationally.

The offices in Atlanta, Chicago, New York City, Portland, Ore., and London will complement BlackLine’s headquarters in Woodland Hills and its operations in Sydney, Australia.

The company plans to open additional offices in Europe by the end of the year.

The reception BlackLine software has received from clients around the globe confirms the value it provides and ability to help companies optimize their financial close, said CEO and founder Therese Tucker.

“To meet the demand and best serve our clients in new markets, we embarked aggressively on an international strategy in the last two years,” Tucker said in a prepared statement. “Opening offices in additional cities was the next logical step in our growth plan.”
