Teledyne Technologies Inc. added to its marine business with the acquisition of a British company that makes underwater cables, and fiber optic and electrical subsea connectors.
Terms of the deal between Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne and PDM Neptec Ltd., of Hampshire in the United Kingdom, were not disclosed.
PDM Neptec is the thirteenth acquisition for the Teledyne Marine group and it adds the line of harsh-environment marine interconnects, said Teledyne Chairman, President and CEO Robert Mehrabian.
“In addition, PDM Neptec adds additional engineering talent and strengthens our international sales channels,” Mehrabian said in a prepared release.
PDM Neptec will change its name to Teledyne Impulse-PDM.
