Travel Association to Tour Valley Hotspots

The U.S. Travel Association’s International Pow Wow, the travel industry’s premier marketplace, will be touring some San Fernando Valley tourism hot spots this weekend. More than 1,000 U.S. travel organizations and more than 1,200 international and domestic buyers from more than 70 countries will be in attendance at the weekend event. Deals made at the Pow Wow are expected to result in more than $3.5 billion in future spending, according to the Travel Association. International Pow Wow was last held in Los Angeles in 2004. The event is held in a different U.S. city each year. Buyers and media will be visiting dozens of tourism hotspots throughout Los Angeles. A tour of the Valley will include visits to the historic Casa Vega and Loteria! Grill, along with a tour of the trendy NoHo (North Hollywood) Arts District, and the Millennium Dance Complex.
