Camarillo-based Salem Communications, a radio broadcasting company targeting Christian and conservative audiences, announced its partnership with TuneIn, a free service that lets people listen to live local and global music, sports, talk and news from wherever they are.
The partnership will extend Salem’s programming reach to more than 30 million monthly active listeners in more than 230 countries.
Salem owns and/or operates about 96 radio stations in 37 markets.
Dave Santrella, president of Salem's Radio Division, said the agreement with TuneIn makes it easier for Salem listeners to access its programming from wherever they are and has introduced the broadcasts to new audiences.
"Overnight we've expanded our footprint in digital, and have gained a suite of first-of-their-kind analysis tools from TuneIn that help us further tailor programming to our listeners everywhere," Santrella said in a prepared statement.
