Greystripe, the mobile division of Westlake Village-based digital marketing company ValueClick Inc. announced today a new audience mapping tool that promises to bridge ValueClick’s anonymous online tracking data to the mobile sphere allowing brands to reach their target audience across multiple platforms.

For advertisers, this new technology represents a crucial step in finding and attracting their intended mobile audience, according Greystripe. The company said the technology leverages the online advertising data of its parent company, ValueClick Inc., and applies it to mobile campaigns. The companies said this provides advertisers with a robust picture of who they’re targeting on mobile devices.

“The market is demanding a cross-platform advertising solution,” Bill Todd, president of ValueClick Media said in prepared statement. “Seeing this opportunity, ValueClick and Greystripe came together one year ago. This is truly an example where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
