Superior Names Midwest Operations Chief

Superior Industries International, Inc. added to its management team with the appointment of Michael N. Bakaric to the new position of vice president, Midwest operations. Bakaric will oversee the Van Nuys-based aluminum wheel maker’s manufacturing operations in the Midwest region, including process and control, infrastructure enhancements, quality and personnel. Prior to joining Superior, Bakaric served as president of the aluminum die castings division and vice president of the magnesium die castings division of Pace Industries in St. Paul, MN and as plant manager for Washington D.C.-based Danaher Tool Group. “Michael is an experienced operations executive and plant manager who brings to Superior a track record of successfully driving growth and efficiency, reducing costs and launching new products,” said Superior Chairman, President and CEO Steven Borick in a prepared statement.
