Seeking to attract business owners as they embrace technology and use less office space, Scheu Development Company will soon open a slew of executive suites in Simi Valley. The suites – totaling 11,000 square feet – will be available beginning November 1. The 38 offices are located on the second floor of Scheu’s three-story, 64,000 square-foot Simi Valley Corporate Point office building. The suites will target growing businesses that want an all-inclusive package of amenities with their space, owner Mark Scheu said. “We provide all the infrastructure for them,” he said. “They don’t have to make a big financial commitment.” Prices will range from $700 to $1,400 per month for each furnished office, which comes complete with access to phones, receptionists, conference rooms and more. An unlimited number of virtual offices will also be available, allowing employees to work from home and have access to a range of the building’s amenities depending on price. Simi Valley Corporate Point, which opened in 2009, is currently 55 percent leased, although negotiations are underway for most of the vacant space, Scheu said. The executive suites will help the building reach full capacity, Scheu said, attracting businesses that seek to use less office space. “We actually think this was a great move,” Scheu said. “We should have done this two years ago.”
