ReachLocal, a Woodland Hills-based online marketing firm, announced the launch of its European headquarters and sales office in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Already serving over 18,000 advertisers in North America, Australia and Europe, the company aims to further extend its global reach by offering small and medium-sized businesses in the Netherlands online marketing solutions specifically designed to fit their needs.
ReachLocal will roll out its products and services such as ReachDisplay, which allows local businesses to reach customers through display advertising on numerous major online publishers, including Facebook.
Although the Netherlands currently ranks as one of the highest digitally connected countries in the world, company officials said the complexity of online advertising has been a barrier for local businesses.
Dirk Bavelaar, country director for Amsterdam, ReachLocal, said the Netherlands presented a significant marketing opportunity for the company.
“The Internet is becoming increasingly fragmented, making it more difficult for local businesses to get in front of the right consumers,” Bavelaar said. “ReachLocal is here to educate businesses and help them seamlessly transition from offline to online marketing.”
