The Beverly Garland Holiday Inn, CallSource, and Kaiser Permanente were named as the three finalists for the quarterly “Economic Engine” Award given by the Valley Economic Alliance. The winner will be named on May 26 at the Alliance’s board of directors meeting. The award recognizes Valley-based businesses that have contributed to the regional economy and the community in which they are located. Past winners include the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys, vegetarian and vegan food manufacturer Earth Island in Canoga Park, and Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. Mark R. Madler
