The funeral service and special tributes to Valley Economic Alliance President and CEO Bruce Ackerman, who died Aug. 26, have been announced. Tues. Aug. 31: 7 p.m. Rosary, followed by public viewing, Our Lady of the Valley, 22021 Gault St., Canoga Park. Wed. Sept. 1: 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Funeral Mass, Our Lady of the Valley, 22021 Gault St., Canoga Park. Interment will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park, 22600 Lassen St., Chatsworth. Wed. Sept. 1: 4 p.m.-8 p.m.: Reception and Celebration of Life, Beverly Garland Hotel, 4222 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to San Fernando Valley Community Foundation in memory of Bruce Ackerman.
