Healthcare information technology company Aspyra, Inc. has been acquired by Orion Healthcare Ventures LLC, the Westlake Village company announced. Orion, an investment firm that focuses on healthcare information technology enterprises, will continue operations under the Aspyra name. Other private equity firms had made offers for Aspyra but none had been in the best interest of all the stakeholders, said CEO Ade Lawal. “This transaction strengthens the balance sheet and provides for growth, while at the same time maintaining the integrity of Aspyra’s software solutions,” Lawal said.
