Lockheed Federal Credit Union to Help Fire Family Foundation

Lockheed Federal Credit Union is collecting contributions in honor of the two fire fighters who lost their lives in the Station fire. Arnaldo Quinones, 35, of Palmdale, and Tedmund Hall, 47, of San Bernardino County, were killed while fighting a blaze on Aug. 30. LFCU, the largest financial institution headquartered in the San Fernando Valley, will contribute $1,000 to the fund, which will go to support the non profit organization Fire Family Foundation. Donations from the public will be received until Sept. 11. “Lockheed Federal Credit Union is anxious to help those affected by the fire; in particular, we plan to support the Fire Family Foundation,” said Dave Styler, President and CEO at LFCU, in a statement. The Fire Family Foundation was created by Los Angeles Firemen’s Credit Union to assist firefighters and their families in a time of need. “In addition to our good wishes and prayers, we can help the families of these heroic firefighters get back on their feet with these contributed funds. It’s the very least we can do for those who put their lives on the line for our community.” Donations will be accepted at any of the ten LFCU branches in Southern California, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Checks must be made payable to the Fire Family Foundation with the note “Station Fire.” Andrea Alegria
