CITY HALL , The City Council on Tuesday voted to hand Councilman Dave Weaver a seat on the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority despite strong objections from colleague Ara Najarian. Weaver and Mayor Frank Quintero, who was unanimously reappointed for a new term on the airport authority, had expressed interest in serving on the commission, and so were absent during the voting process due to conflict-of-interest rules.
