The Valley Economic Alliance will hold its 12th annual Valley of the Stars Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony on June 27, honoring three “stars of the Valley”: Rowan & Martin’s “Laugh-In”; The Walt Disney Company; and Woodbury University. Held at The Academy of Television of Arts & Science, the event recognizes exemplary individuals, organizations and businesses who have made substantial contributions in arts, entertainment, business, and education, and have contributed to the growth and vitality of the San Fernando Valley region. This year, the popular game show host, producer, and Rose Parade announcer Bob Eubanks will be the Master of Ceremonies. The honorees this year will be recognized for their contributions in entertainment, business and education respectively. . Rowan & Martin’s “Laugh-In” will be honored as one of America’s most influential and successful American sketch comedy television programs. As a major economic driver in the San Fernando Valley, The Walt Disney Company will receive an award highlighting its business achievements in the region. Woodbury University will be honored for leading the community as a center of business, creativity, and innovation. The gala event is presented annually by The Valley Economic Alliance, an economic development and marketing collaborative comprised of most of the San Fernando Valley’s major employers and its five cities.
